This site was created using Adobe GoLive 5.0. During the construction of this site, great care was taken to ensure compatibilty with as many browsers as possible. Our main focus was on the Big Three: Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and AOL. This site functions well on version 4 or higher in any of these browsers. It functions best on IE5 or higher. The most common problems with non-IE5 or higher browsers include: Slightly blurred images, Images with a gradient effect appear 'striped', The 'scrolling news' on the Home page may not appear until the page is reloaded.
This site is best viewed on a 15" monitor or larger with a minimum screen resolution of 800x600 and color set at True Color (32 bit). These settings can be changed by clicking the Display icon in Control Panel.
The rotating banner ad near the bottom of the Home page requires the Flash plug-in. Your browser should warn you if you don't have the required plug-in and offer to take you to a site where you can download it. Additionally, we make available various product related technical and informational documents in PDF format. Again, this requires a plug-in. Adobe Acrobat Reader is the preferred plug-in for PDF files and can be downloaded, free of charge, from Adobe's website. Within our site you will find the familiar Acrobat Reader button on any page that uses the PDF plug-in.
To get back to the news headlines, simply click on the 'Headlines' link at the end of the article and you will be taken to the top of the page where the news headlines are listed.
Clicking on a Product Category
This method of finding product information is best when you know what type of general product you are looking for, but are unsure of the actual product name. Our entire product line is broken down into 12 product categories.
For example, if you were looking for a general cleaner to use in the bathroom, simply click on the Cleaners/Degreasers category icon and you will be presented with Share's entire line of cleaners and degreasers. Narrow your search by reading the brief descriptions that are listed to the right of the product name, looking for products specific to bathroom cleaning.
This method is best when you know the name of the product you are looking for, or have a specific need.
Simply enter the name of the product into the box located on the Title bar at the top of the page, then click Search. You can also enter just a few letters of the product name if you are unsure of the exact name.
For example, let's say you were going to do a product search for De-Scale. You enter De-Scale in the search box, click Search, and you'll be taken to the product listing for De-Scale. But if you didn't know the product was named De-Scale, just De-something, you could type "De-"; into the box, click Search, and then every product that starts with "De-" would be listed for your results.
Or, if you have a specific problem to solve, type in a word that describes that problem. For instance, if you need a product to remove graffiti you would type the word 'graffiti' in the Search box and click the Search button or press Enter.
The search function checks the description shown on the catalog page of each product for any occurrence of your search criteria. It doesn't just look for a matching product name - it searches the entire long description of every product for a match to what you entered. This is a very thorough method of searching and can be a great help in finding exactly what you need.
